Homemade Fertilizers

Plants need external support to grow and recover their foliage in the form of fertilizers. Artificial fertilizers are easily available but hamper soil’s health in the long run. So here are some natural homemade fertilizers for your pretty plants.

Coffee Grounds

Coffee is a rich source of nitrogen. You can sprinkle coffee grounds or diluted coffee to fertilize your plant.

Eggshells

Eggshells are a good source of calcium. You can use them as a fertilizer at the plant's initial stage for better root development.

Banana Peels

 Banana peels provide a sufficient amount of potassium and phosphorus. Store peels in a bottle overnight and use liquid in your plant.

Vegetable peels

You can make compost from these peels or directly bury them in the soil. After decomposition, it releases nutrients into the soil.
