Sunlight

Promoting healthy foliage and a blooming abundance of flowers requires full sunlight or at least providing them with partially shady areas.

Soil

Well-draining, moist, and nutrient-rich soil.

Watering

  • For ground-planted royal jasmine – Watering once a week increases the watering frequency in summer.
  • Potted plants – Have to be watered twice a week during the normal season, and in summer, you must water them regularly.
  • If planted indoors – According to Greg’s recommendation, 0.8 cups are every 9 days, but I suggest that if grown as a houseplant, whenever you witness the upper layer of soil is dry, give them that small amount of water in which the soil gets wet, not soggy.

Fertilization

Fertilization is necessary for making your soil rich in nutrients, so feed the plants when they are at their initial growing phase and before the blooming season. Also, always amend your soil before repotting it in a bigger pot for your potted jasmine.

Pruning

Pruning should be done after the blooming season, or when you see any diseased or damaged branch, it should be pruned immediately. It will lower the chances of pest infestation.
